This is an '80's looking hightop that turns into a flip-flop via a zipper. It's called a modular shoe, and it's bound to be one of the worst ideas ideas I've ever heard of. I mean, Jesus, flip-flops cost a dollar and fit in your pocket. Now here's a tip: if you're so poor you're actually considering buying a pair of convertible sneak-flops, BUY SOME FUCKING GROCERIES INSTEAD. And, on a side note, I bought a pair but my penis kept getting caught in the zipper so I threw them out. Ladies?

These are perler bead crafts Foglera have made over the past couple of years.

Beads were arranged on special interlocking 29x29-bead square pegboards, using nearly every color available from Perler (the big buckets don't include every shade), both of which are available through eBay resellers. The pieces range in size from 3" to nearly a square foot.

Source images for the sprites came from Google image searches, sprite collection websites and my personal screen captures.

All the emoticons came from the Something Awful forums, of which Foglera have been a member for many years now.

Coasters were made by gluing 1/8" corkboard to the bottom of the piece using Tacky Glue and trimming the edges flush.

Fridge magnets were made with simple adhesive-backed magnetic tape.

Designer M Schoner of NL Architects designed a bench that plays music from nearby mobile phones via Bluetooth called 'Boombench'. NL architects transformed a regular piece of street furniture into a sound system. This seemingly normal street bench reveals its special feature when it becomes active via Bluetooth, allowing the public to play the music on their mobile phones. Sometime back the bench was on display at the Urban Play event 2 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

By no means is the first Pokémon car, and by no means is it the last. However, it is better than this one. Way better. It's from one of the Pokémon Centers in Japan. There seems to be a whole fleet of them Pokécars. But those Pika-cheeks? Darling. Wheel covers? Fab. And those lights? Adore them.

I think it's fair to say that my childhood sucked now that I've seen the life the kids over in Japan get to live. Reader Dale sent over a couple of snapshots he took of this rock solid Pikachu kindergarten bus. It's got nothing on the German version. Air carrier ANA infamous slapped Pokémon on a couple of their planes to attract children and grown-ups who still carry security blankets. But, wait! There's more. Kotakuite John writes:
